I didn’t expect it to, but my little red jasper has quickly become one of my favourite stones. It is strong, friendly, unendingly cheerful, and, since placing it on my bedroom alter, I’ve had some amazingly vivid dreams. I wanted to share some common aspects of this wonderful stone with you all!
Jaspers in general: -fostering and nurturing -great for grounding and centering -works slowly so it’s good for long-term projects or goals
Red Jasper
Psychic Properties: -Excellent for vivid dream recall, shamanic journeying, astral travel, and clearing the mind during meditation or other concentrated work -Protection: guards against psychic attacks and unfriendly spirits -Courage -Balancing all energies -Energy: alleviates stress and reconnects one with the Earth’s healing energies, cleanses and removes negative energies -Helps to bring problems to light: is known as the stone of courage and justice, meditating on it can help to discover and resolve problems -Passion: encourages control so it calms sexual aggressiveness and enhances sexual compatibility -Passion: creativity; stimulates new ideas and excitement, and gives energy to continue on with a long-term project
Physical Properties: -Much like bloodstone, red jasper is connected to the circulatory system -Regulates metabolic energies -Guards against physical attacks -Helps physical stamina –Please keep in mind that using crystals/stones should never be a replacement for professional medical care; take care of yourself, be safe, and see a doctor for serious medical concerns
